Maria Snyder holds both an M.A. in French (U. of Illinois Chicago) and a Ph.D in Germanic Languages & Literatures (Washington University). She has over 15 years experience in translating academic, business, and literary texts. - Academic posts held at University of Missouri St Louis and Loyola University Chicago.
- Author of publications on early modern history, cartography, and translation, as well as on contemporary literature in French and German.
